Trite Launches Real-Time Stablecoin Settlement Rails across African Corridors

Trite has officially rolled out its real-time stablecoin settlement rails across major trade corridors in West and East Africa. This deployment marks a major shift in cross-border commerce, allowing enterprise merchants to settle transactions in minutes rather than waiting the typical 3-5 business days associated with SWIFT and traditional banking correspondence.

By integrating stablecoins like USDT and USDC directly with local payment networks, Trite bypasses the friction points of multiple intermediary clearing banks. The new service leverages deep localized liquidity pools, enabling automated conversions with near-zero slippage. Corporate treasuries can now manage cash flows dynamically and eliminate currency volatility risk in real-time.

Our engineering team has worked closely with regional liquidity providers to ensure that transaction queues are cleared programmatically. Transactions are backed by end-to-end telemetry, allowing compliance officers to track and audit the flow of funds from digital wallets straight through to local fiat currency bank accounts.

With initial corridors established between Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa, Trite plans to expand this high-velocity architecture to another six markets in French-speaking West Africa by the end of the year. This rollout represents a critical component of our mission to build a frictionless payment architecture tailored to the modern African enterprise.
